A restaurant nearby saved me from starving. The hostel's central location allowed me to explore the whole city without getting lost. The free WiFi kept me entertained during those long, lonely nights.
The shared lounge was so inviting, with no one there. I felt like I was the star of my own private show.

This was a nice place to stay near to a market across the street during the day to buy fruits and veg and cheap food and Ubons chinatown. Nice old building, where we stayed. The staff were really helpful, all of them...

The owner was super cool and let us check in early. The location was sick, just a short walk to the main street where we found a legit night food market. Plus, the sunset by moon river was straight fire! They even hooked us up with private transportation for sightseeing. It was a vibe!
The only thing we'd ask for is a chill common area where we can hang with other young party-goers. A place to meet new friends and turn up the energy.

Great value for money, with basic but comfortable dorm rooms and shared facilities. The location is ideal, with the night market and morning market just a short walk away. The river bank is also nearby, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The staff, especially the friendly family who run the hostel, treat you like a part of their family. They are genuinely interested in your day and always ready to help with tips and recommendations.
Morning meal could be improved with more variety and options.

The hostel's location is ideal, with the morning market and evening market right outside the door. It is also conveniently close to the night market and situated by the Moon river. The rooms are beautifully decorated with Chinese antiques, providing a unique and visually appealing experience. The owner, an elderly lady with excellent English skills, offers warm and friendly service, making guests feel like part of the family.
One downside is the potential presence of bugs and ants on the mattresses in the multi-bed rooms.

The dorm room may be basic, but the unbeatable price, friendly staff, and amazing location made my stay mind-blowing. With just a short walk to the night market, morning market, and river bank, I had the perfect opportunity to immerse myself in the local culture. The hostel, converted from a local house, provided a unique and charming experience. Plus, the comfortable bed and great prices were just the cherry on top. The ladies running the hostel were super friendly, and it was an overall wonderful stay.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

I had a great experience staying at 28 Rachabutr Hostel. the dorm room was very basic, with mattresses on the floor, but it was comfortable enough. the shared facilities were fine, and the staff and owner were incredibly friendly and helpful. the location was amazing, just a short walk to both the night market and the morning market by the river. One highlight of my stay was the host's mother, who was 80 years old but incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place for a visit to Ubon. Cons: Couldn't stay longer 😢.

They were like a cozy little den for playtime and bedtime stories. Cons: My wife says that the bunk beds were a bit squeaky.
